 TAPE 94-5, SIDE A
 Number 001
CHAIRMAN RICK HALFORD called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to
order at 12:22 p.m. He then brought the only item on the agenda,
CSHB 505(FIN) ( APPROP: BRF TO GEN.FUND; EDUCATION AID), before the he
 committee for its consideration.

SENATOR LITTLE noted that a memo from Shelby Stastny, Director of
the Office of Management & Budget, reflects the principle for the
April 4, 1994 Supreme Court case to be $73,275,478, however, in the
Senate Finance CS on page 5, line 1, the amount is $73,245,478.
CHAIRMAN HALFORD thanked Senator Little for pointing out the
discrepancy and said a technical correction could be made for that
number in whichever document is inaccurate.

SENATOR ZHAROFF moved and asked unanimous consent that SCS CSHB 505
(FIN) be approved for calendaring at the Chair's discretion.
SENATOR JACKO objected. The roll was taken with the following
result: Senators Rieger, Little, Zharoff, Halford and Jacko voted
"Yea." The Chairman stated the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the committee, the
meeting was adjourned at 12:28 p.m.
